T/S: when the Oompa-Lompas started singing about Veruca. It remind me of when my brother starts singing weird songs. It helps me better understand the story because werid things could happen to people around you.
T/W: when Mr. Salt wanted to get the squiral. It remind me of when squirals as pets. It helps me better understand the that some people could be the same thing as the charater.

I think that the Oompa Lompas is like my sister because shes short and annoying like them.

Good connections! It’s great that you were able to personally connect Veruca Salt to a member of your family. Veruca is definitely a unique individual, and it might be hard to understand her personality if you were unable to make that connection. Do you think we will ever see Veruca or her parents again?
