My favorite part in chapter two was when John went to the candy store and he bought the chocolate with the coin he found the he hid it under his bed.When I was reading the book I got a picture in my mind.It was when the author described the candy in the candy store.

In chapter 2 I think that the coin was magical because John said he has not seen that store before or the guy and the guy new his name and the coin did not have George Washington on it also had a fat boy on it and it had John initals on it i also I wonder why John went write instead of left.why was it such a  big box with one piece of chocolate in it?

I think that John should not lie do you think so.  I thought there was good snap shots like this one he saw all the chocolate and he wanted one chocolate.How did the guy know his name? Is the fat boy John?

I loved chapter 2 a lot! My visualisation was a dully gleaming silvery grayish coin right in his path .A connection was when John went to the store he had no money.I’ve gone to a store before and not have any money to get something.A vocab that I did not know was absentmindedly.That’s was what I thought about chapter 2.

Chapter 2 was Ok but it was kind a weird.  Ok it wasn’t good.It kind a didn’t make any sense to me because there was big words and John never saw the coin in his whole life.I think John is in big trouble because when his parents might find the box and the paper everywhere.I don’t know this question but how could the shop keeper know Johns name?

I liked in this book when John drank the medicine and he didn’t like it.My connection was when I drank the medicine that my mom gives me and I didn’t really like the medicine.When I read this book I had some pictures in my head.The picture was when John’s eyes were caught by a silver coin right on the floor right in his path.My prediction is that in chapter 3 John is going to get sugared up by chocolate and keep buying candy from stores.

My favorite part  in chapter 2 is the part when John finds the funny old coin.I also think that coin was for him only.I also wonder how  the man new John’s name.In chapter 2 I learned a new word it was absentmindedly.I think for me that word is very hard to say.I also  wonder why John went a different way when going to Susan’s house.

Chapter two is great! I thought it was really funny when John found the coin and the initials were J.M. I think that John is going to get very sick if he keeps eating chocolate. I had a connection. I once hid a chocolate bar under my bed and it was HUGE! The next day my dad caught me eating the chocolate bar and I got in serious trouble. I think that John is going to get caught like I did.

yes there is like playing foot ball every day because it is nice and fun and like going outside to see the earth i love too much of a good thing

I think there is a such thing as too much of a good thing because sometimes I chew on too much gum and my tooth starts to hurt.So now I don’t really chew on gum any more except for sometimes.
