In chapter 4 John had a habit of chewing on his gloves, but  when he chewed on his golves they turned to chocolate.  when John was walking to school he met up with Spider Wilson. when he saw John eating his gloves he thought John had gone crazy!  John was very clever to get Spider off his back, when he put the gloves in his mouth he showed Spider that it turned into chocolate!  When Spider saw that it was true he wanted some but all he got was glove, yucky chewed on glove.  But after that happen susan called John over to the jungle gym.  Susan told him that she got a real silver coin, but john thought it  was fake so she told him to bite on it and I think you can guess what happened next………… IT TURNED TO CHOCOLATE!  How do you think John felt after that happened?

     Chapter 4 was when John was walking to school and was chewing on his glove.  John said ” It really tastes like chocolate !!!”  I wondered why he said that.  After he ate the plom of his glove, the 4th grader, Spider, went behind John and yelled “I WANT SOME OF THAT CHOCOLATE GLOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! “  John said it only tasted like chocolate in HIS mouth.  But Spider didn’t listen.  Spider snached the glove right out of John’s hand.John did not fight back for his glove.  He just left Spider throing-up the remans of the glove. 

     The sad part was when John put Susin’s gold coin in his mouth .  John is having a hard time.

In  chapter  4  john  started  eating  his  glove.Then  spider  ate  it  and  it  tasted  harible.Then  susan  told  him   to  bite  her  coin  and  it  turned  into  choclate  and  she  cried. Dont  you  think  thats  sad?

What did you think about chapter 4? John was asking all these questions how his breakfast turn eggs and bacon turn to chocolate?   What had made his orange juice taste like chocolate.  John was going to school and sucking his thumb with his glove on and when put his thumb in his mouth and it turned to chocolate.  Then John eating his glove then a boy named spider came and  took his glove and stared to eat the glove  then spider said John gone crazy!       nya

In chapter 4 John was walking to school  and when he was thinking he started to chew on  the thumb on  his leather glove.  Then the school bully Spider  came along and said to John  give me some of that chocolate.  Also Spider said if you don’t give me some of that your out of the club.  Then John said what club then Spider said forget about the club.Then Spider snatched the glove out of John’s hand.  Also  Spider started to chew on it and screamed John’s gone crazy John’s gone crazy.  Then when John got to school he bumped into Suzan.  Suzan said to John  look  what I got for my birthday.  Suzan  got  a silver coin  and showed John.   John said I got one of those once  but it was  choclate.  Then Suzan said if you don’t belive me just bite.  So  John said ok and it turned into  choclhate . when  he took the coin out all that was rest  of it was A silver crewstent. 

In chapter 4 John was chewing  his glove when he saw it was chocolate!  Then Spider ran  up to John yelling how John was crazy and took it and bit it  but he didn’t taste chocolate.  At the play ground susan had a sliver coin and John bit it and it turned in to chocolate! 

     Chapter 4 was very sad.  I feel bad about Susan’s coin.  John is in deep trouble.  I think Susan is never going to forgive John.

     I don’t think Spider Wilson is very nice.  It was mean to take John’s glove.  He might be a bully!  I wonder what is going to happen in the next chapter!

John had a really tough day in school.  He ate his glove and made Spider try it , too!  Then John made Susan hate him.All because he bit he real coin.   John tried to back down.   It was not Susan’s fault it the real coin turned into chocolate.It was John’s fault.  He did not tell her  about his chocolate powers.   And Susan said ” I hate you John Midas.”   Susan ran away crying!   Leaving John Midas standing there embarrassed.   What do you think  will happened next?   Find out in  chapter  5.

In chapter four John was wlking on the sidewalk with the glove and Spider came by and said ‘give me a piece. Then John said “no it’s not choclate. Then the boy said “remember the club rule and John said “what club asked John.” Spider said” forget about the club” and give me a piece then he took it and tasted it and it wasn’t choclate. Then Spider said your weard. Then John went to Susans party and she got a coin then John said” it might not be a coin once someone gave me a coin that had choclate inside”. Then Susan said” then take a piece”. John said im ok” then he tried it and then it turned to choclate. Then Susan got mad at him and ran away before could think of something to say.    

Chapter 4 was a cool chapter. In chapter 4 John was walking to school. With John was a leather glove. John put the glove in his mouth. Then the glove turned to….. chocolate. John was having fun eating his chocolate glove intil spider came. Spider was begging for the chocolate glove. Then John gave the glove to him. Then what do you know the glove turned back to leather. Spider was spitting the glove out of his mouth and into the gutters. After that John was laughing at spider. John met susan at the play ground. Susan showed John her new coin. John said that he has a coin just like it but it was chocolate. Then Susan told John to bite it. John bit it and….. it turned to chocolate. Just a crescent was left of the coin. Susan cried like crazy! John felt so embarrassed. That part was my favorite! What is your favorite part?
