What did you think about chapter 4?  I thought it was a little crazy!  I mean, who would chew on gloves while they were thinking!  If you were John would you have given Spider the glove?  I would’ve kept it.  Do you think Spider is a good friend?  I think Spider should have an attitude check! If I were Susan I would have not let John bite the coin.  I think thet Susan should’ve just banged the coin on a table.  If the coin was not real it would’ve broken in half.  If I was Susan I would tell my dad what happened and have him try to get a new one.  What would you do if you were Susan?

Wasn’t it sad when John hurt Suzie’s feelings?  But it was still sad  that he lost his best friend!  But chapter 4 was still good wasn’t?  Suzie told him to bite it if he did not think it was real and then he bit it and then she hated him now! This is a great book so far isn’t it?

In chapter 4 I think John had a not so good day.  But I like the part when Spider tryed to eat John’s glove and it was leather.  The part I didn’t like is when John bit Susan’s coin.  What is your favorite part?

 In chapter four john  is realy confused because everything tastes like chocolate. my favorite part is when john leaves spider spitting in the gutters. whats your favorite part?  to me the chocolate gloves are  wierd but edible. I have a  connection to john becaause sometimes I chew on my shirts.

What do you think is gonna happen in chapter 5 ?  In chpater 4  john keeps thinking about how the bacon juice and egg. Also the bully saw john eating the glove because it was made ot of choclate . Susan is made at john because john eat half of Susans special coin.            akshar

In Chapter5, John went to the water fountain and he was drinking the water and it tasted like chocolate – it was funny. John went back to his classroom and tasted his pencil and it tasted like chocolate. I think John is going to find out that when he is eating other things that they will turn into chocolate, but he won’t eat choclate. Do you know what’s going to happen?

In Chapter three I think that John starts tasting  everything like chocolate because he ate that one peice of chocolate. Why do you think it tastes like chcolate?

In chapter 3 John was going to the bathroom and he had to wait because Mary was brushing her teeth. John found something very suprising in the toothpaste.He said ” I have to taste something that tastes exactly like tonic”.The toothpaste was pink and tasted like tonic. He said it was a stinky taste. John said to Mary ” come on dont take all morning to brush your teeth.” The toothpaste was called Blanco Dent. John took a little of the toothpaste on his brush and put it right in his mouth.He found out the toothpaste was… CHOCOLATE toothpaste he put it in his mouth and rubbed it to and fro and ate all the toothpaste in no time. What do you think will happen in chapter 4?

It was so weird because he ate the TOOTHPASTE!!!! Do you eat toothpaste that tastes like chocolate??? I did not see that coming! I do not blame his sister for saying he’s silly!!! I hope he gets in trouble. Do you?????

John’s morrning was strange. John’s toohtpaste,toast,eggs, and OJ tasted like chocolate. Maybe the man at the store is causing this. Do you think the man is causing this?
