I thought it was funny when John thought the water he drank  was chocolate water.  I also thought was funny when Miss Plimsole  wrote four questions on the blackboard.  Next I think he is going to eat his teacher because he thinks his teacher has chocolate.

In Chapter5, John went to the water fountain and he was drinking the water and it tasted like chocolate – it was funny. John went back to his classroom and tasted his pencil and it tasted like chocolate. I think John is going to find out that when he is eating other things that they will turn into chocolate, but he won’t eat choclate. Do you know what’s going to happen?

I think chapter 5 is too much of a good thing for John. When he got a drink of water it turned to, clear, chocolate water. So it leaves John as thirsty as before he got the drink. When he gets back to his classroom, Miss Plimsole  waves her finger meaning ”You’re late.” He nibbles on his pencil and that of all things turned to chocolate. He told Miss Plimsole that his pencil turned to chocolate [ telling the truth ]  and she didn’t believe him because it’s like ”My dog ate my homework.” and even when John showed Miss Plimsole his pencil. In chapter 6 Ithink John is going to get a detention for making up a silly excuse. – Kylee gets a drink it’s ice-cold

In Chapter 5, John becomes very thirsty and asks Miss. Plimsole if he can get a drink but when he gets there the water turns to chocolate. Wouldn’t you love for everything you ate turn to chocolate? Do you think Miss. Plimsole is mean? Well I do!!!!! While John was taking his math test, he bit his pencil and it automaticly turned to a chocolate pencil. Chapter 5 was my favorite so far, I can’t wait to see what happens in the next one! I hope it’s very funny! What do you think Christina? I think when John goes outside he will eat a flower or anything he could find while walking to Susan’s house to try to apoligize to her!

In chapter 5  John asks Miss.Plimsole for a drink .  She aproved him. But when John took a sip the water turned into chocolate water.  Also while John was taking a important test, he nibbled on his pencil and slowly turned to chocolate before his very eyes!!!!!!   Now John really has a  problem!  I love chapter 5.  I wonder what will happen in chapter 6.  I bet later in the story John will try to go back to the candy store.  What do you think Kailyah? John should do something. And QUICK!

I like the part when John made his pencil into chocolate. I liked that part because it was like magic but I would not like every thing I eat to taste like chocolate. I think that he will make something else into chocolate.

In chapter 5, John is at school where we meet his teacher, Miss Plimsole.  Miss Plimsole gives John’s class a test that will show her how well they have been learning their arithmetics.  Then, John gets thirsty and goes to the drinking fountain.   But when the water touches his mouth, it turns into chocolate!  Then, he tries the one on the second floor, but it turns into chocolate too!And when he gets back to the classroom, his pencil turns into chocolate but the chocolate touch gets stronger and turns the whole pencil into chocolate.

In chapter 5 John hung up his coat, got his notebook, and got his pencil out of his locker.  He also asked Miss Plimsole for a drink of water, while his class was about to start a test.  Is it weird that John`s pencil turned into chocolate?  I think that John`s pencil turning into chocolate is weird.  I think in chapter 6 John`s finger will turn into chocolate.

I like the part when John was drinking the water fountain and it turned to chocolate. I like the part when he nibbled his pencil and it turned to chocolate and he tryed to write with it.  I didn`t like the part when he had to do math problem . I think that whats  going to happen is he is going to try his coat.
