In chapter 1 we meet a boy named John who likes candy, especially chocolate.Then, he gets red spots on his nose from eating too much chocolate and he goes to Dr.Cranium.While John’s there, he kicks Dr.Cranium’s rubber hammer.Then John’s parents try to tell him to not eat too much of one thing because it’s bad for his body

In chapter 1  John gets spots  and goes the doctors  his mother things he has the measles so thats why john gose to the doctors . And John buys a  lot of candy and other kids spend all of  their money on toys and other stuff . johns father is very boring .but his mother is very  worried when he got the measles it was funny when he kicked the hammer very hard .                                   Rebecca

In chapter 1 John gets spots on his nose. When his parents take him to the doctor.When the doctor Dr. Crannium gets a rubber hammer and hits John’s knee, John doesn’t kick very high.As you know John is loves chocolate and when other kids buy toys and other stuff John buys chocolate.

I like the part when Gohn had spots on his face and he got in trouple. I like when Gohn was actting like a tiger too.

I liked when John was acting like a tiger. And liked when John said he liked bananas. I liked when there was red spots at the end of John’s nose. I cant believe John eats so much chocolate.

I like when John said I like bananas with Chocolate and I like when John kicked the hammer out of the docter hand. I like when John told us the candy he liked. 

Chapter 1 kind of explained John. A boy who wants candy 24/7. He’s probaly gonna get real fat. I wonder what the “Chocolate Touch” is. What did you think about the chapter? I thought it was ok. It’s probaly gonna get better the farther in the story. I hope it gets better.

I think that this book will be one of my favorites.  I love that fact that John is “candy mad.”  I cant wait to find out more about him and his friends.  It sounds like John has a very nice family that love him very much.  I really liked the part in the doctors office when John kicked the hammer out of Dr. Cranium’s hand.  I don’t think the doctor was expecting that.  I hope John understands that too much of any one thing can be bad for you.  Like John’s dad said, ” Don’t you think there’s such a thing as enough?”  I think this will be a lesson that John is going to have to learn.

In chapter 1 I liked it when John kicked the hammer out of the doctors hand.   I thought that was the funniest part.  I also like the fact that John loves chocolate, cause I love Chocolate to.  I cant wait to find out more about John and all his friends.
