i wondered about dannys fathers seceret. i read on and found out he was poatching. i felt shocked when danny found out. it must have been hard for him. with lead me to a connetcion. my uncle used to poatcxh before i told him to stop. i read the bfg and that made me make another connetcion the bfg is in this book also.

Danny the Champion of the World is a good book, but it is very sad because Danny’s mom died when Danny was 4 mounths old.
My inference is that Danny is going to come up with a plan.

Danny the Champion of the World is a good book. The best part for me was learning that Danny’s father was a poacher. A secret he’s been keeping from Danny his whole life. Another good part was when Danny and his father went poaching and they ended up hiding from a keeper. It was to bad that they got caught
I have a connection. One is to the BFG. I read that book. It helped me understand who that character was.
i also have a question What is Danny’s dad name? They never say.

I think that the book is exciting because Danny and his dad could get caught poaching and it’s a really good book. I also liked the part when Danny’s dad was a few hours late for being home because you wouldn’t know if he gets caught or hurt. I also liked the chapter “The Champion of the World”
I wonder how Danny’s dad recovered from his injury so quick.
I had a few connections one of them was “Spectacles” from G/L (Greek and Latin
The BFG was also in the book from one of the bed time storys. I loved that!
One of my predictions was that I thought that Danny and his dad would get caught poaching.

I also think that Danny is a good book. It was sad learning that Danny’s mother died when he was only 4 mounths old. What did Danny do as a plan?

I agree with Vanessa 2 you can’t buy phesants because they dont have money
and I agree with Lilli it was a good book and I agree with Steven his mother dying was sad

I liked the book alot. I enjoyed the whole adventure of Danny and his father paching. I hope you enjoy my alternative ending!
