I also liked the part when Danny's dad was a few hours late for being home because you wouldn't know if he gets caught or hurt. I also liked the chapter "The Champion of the World" I wonder how Danny's dad recovered from his injury so quick. I had a few connections one of them was "Spectacles" from G/L (Greek and Latin :) The BFG was also in the book from one of the bed time storys. I loved that!
