Lit Circles with Family Tree

Overall, I thought Family Tree was a good book. Although I wish Family Tree was a bit more interesting. The blogging experience was a  bit of challenge for me.But blogging was fun and exiting.

I thougt we did pretty good with our group work but we sometimes got early fast and didnt know what to talk about. I think that probably brougt our grade down a little. I really loved this book because everybody including me could relate to Tyler and her charater. I picked this book because I thought A, would be to my reading standards and B, really interesting from when Mr.Dunn read the back of the book. I think he should continue to do this because this is way better than just doing a paper everyday we do reading!

THis idea of blogging was great. I loved interacting with people around the world. THe book “FamilyTree” was great. It is kind of like an soap opera. So many amazing things happen so fast, that at the end you will say…woh. THe group was good to. Although we had some slumps in the process.

                       Why i picked this book? You are wondering that. I picked this book because my sitution is like the same thing as Tyler. Blogging was the fun part about the reading. I thought this was fun. This was a great book. When i read it, it feels like i can put myself in her sitution. I like this book.

T/S Sometimes when I can’t go to sleep I get a book of somesort. Tyler reads more of her mama’s notebook. This helps understand the book because of how similar we’re.

T/W Many young kids do not like to go to sleep.  When Tyler dosen’t or can’t go to sleep, she takes out and reads more of mama’s journal. This helps me understand the book better because of how similar the book is to life.

T/W In the movie ” Lost Planet” The main character reads at night so he can read the rest of the story. Tyler reads more about her mom. This helps me understand the book because, of how similar two different things are.

T/T In the book “City of Ember” Doon stays up all night to read about the workers who made ember. Tyler does also, this helps me understand the book of how people act.

I think the Amish came from a quiet town in Texas.

I think they moved to Pennsylvania so they can discover some new things.

T/ do you think that Margaret is going to take  Tyler back?

thought I think no, because she is going to see how much tyler and papa love each other.

S/ why was tyler so worried?

Skinny/ Where did Tyler take her uncle Levi after breakfast?

Thick/ Why do you think that Levi didn’t really leave at the begging of chapter 23 when he said he was?   Answer/ Levi didn’t leave because Papa kept the conversation going.
