T/S Me and Tyler can both get stumped in one situation like when Tyler had to decide to send the letter to her grandparents. This better helps me understand the book because we can all get stumped.
T/W Some people have different feelings when they personal. Tyler feels astonished of her mom’s notes, this helps me understand the book of how people understand about personal stuff.

Hi Diego-
Good connections! I think I understand what you mean with your text-to-world connection. Sometimes we see a situation differently when it is through another’s eyes. Tyler sees Paps everyday, and has come to appreciate many of the unique things about him. She starts to look at those same things differently now, however, after hearing the descriptions her mother had made.
Is there a particular situation where this happened to you?
