The strategy we have been practicing is synthesis, in whch we use all of the reading strategies we have previously learned to figure out the theme, “big idea,” or gist of a reading. Well i thing the “big idea” is that just like you have to do what you have to do. I figured that out by useing all the themes combined like bravery, Be there for your family, Help others and be clever.

i think the idea of the story is that you shouldn’t steal because it will get you in a lot of trouble,like mr.fox. But instead of getting shot or killed you will go to jail for a couple years or even the rest of your life! Depending on what you steal, if you do.

i think the theme is having a big feast and stealing from the farmer’s.the senes that told me is infrensing because i keep predecting that the foxs will have a great feast and i was right!:)

I think the theme of this book is trying to sneak,getting caught and then finding a way to get out of it.What tells me this is that mr.fox always tries to sneak food,gets caught but always thinks his wat out of it.[problem solving]

I think the theme is Mr.Fox and his kids and bager are going to get out of the cider place when the big lady leaves the cider.I think when she leaves they will all take cider out and go have a big feast together.
