In Chapters 1-3, we discussed the different meanings of “Point of View”. We first looked at the author’s point of view. First person tells the story through a character in the book; Second person places you in the story; Third person limited it told by a narrator through the eyes of one character; and Third person omniscient is the all-knowing narrator or “eye in the sky”.
We also looked at a character’s point of view. This time we’re talking about that person’s perspective, or the way they see things. In Frindle, Nick and Mrs. Granger have conflicting points of view when it comes to school.
Compare and contrast some of your points of view on school against those of your parents/guardians. Are there some things you agree on? What do you disagree on?

My parents say school work comes before anything. I agree because if you do it when you get home then you dont need to worry about when you want to play with your friends. I dont dissagree with anything.

my parents/guardians agree on the rule that when i walk through the door my homework comes first before anything.i like that rule because if i want to do something like play video games or go outside i’ll have more time to do it because my homework will be done and out of the way.

my parents always say to do my home work first and eat all of the food on my plate at dinner. I agree to both because if I do my homework first I can get it out of the way for later. I agree with my parent’s dinner rule because If you eat all of your food then you won’t be hungry when you are in bed or going to bed.

My parents think I should do my homework first thing I walk in the door and I agree, so then I can go outside and play with my friens outside and then I won’t have to worry about my homework anymore.
