Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher

The big message about the book is telling us that if you have a pet you should keep it a secret only if it’s dangerous.

This book is making me feel happy and a little sad also a little like I have to chuckle.  This book makes me feel this way they’re are happy parts, sad parts ,and funny parts in this book.

I made a connection with my brothers because they always need care,love, and showing you respect them. It reminds me of my life because my brother always wants my attention.

So far I enjoy reading this book because it is getting interesting.  It also a little scary if Mary Lou is also a little scary if Mary Lou is going to tell the school that Jeremy Thatcher has a pet dragon.  

 Bruce Coville, you should keep writing books like this about dragons, dinosaurs,and mystery books like this because this book is not real and thats what makes it interesting.

A personal connection I made was that I like to draw like Jeremy.  This story reminds me of a farm by my aunt’s house and there are a lot of animals just like Dr.Thatcher.  

The book made me feel temped to read the next chapter after we were finished reading. The emotions that it stirred up were suspence and exitement because it’s not usual for a kid to have a pet dragon. It also stirred up those emotions because I love reading about mythical and exotic creatures/animals.                                                                                               

If I could be one of the characters from the book I would choose to be Tiamat because  I would be able to protect myself better while being a dragon than just being a human being. Also, I would be able to fly, breathe fire, and talk to other people by just sending them a [...]

I am most like the character Jeremy because, I am very smart,  athletic, and i sometimes draw in my spare time. Who are you most like in the story.

The book made me feel angry,happy, and funny because, I got angry when Tiamat messed up room nineteen’s chance of being in the Spring Art Contest, funny when Tiamat messed up the dinner with the Hutton’s, and finally happy when Tiamat went with Jeremy to school because Jeremy was feeling bad.
