As you have read, have you been able to make any connections to the novel?

A text-to-self (T/S) connection is connecting the text to yourself and things that have happened to you.

A text-to-text (T/T) connection is connecting the text to something else that you have read.

A text-to-world (T/W) connection is connecting the text to something you have learned or understand.

    T/S my text to self is when cara makes the newspaper on the computer i did a news paper on the computer, too =)

    I have not really had alot of connections with the book but I do have one.Cara knows that she made a mistake when she wrote about mr.Larson,and how lazy he was,she now knows she has to fix it.So,she wrote something nice about him and respecting him when she made it apropreit in the newspaper.And when I do something bad I know that I have to fix it.thats my connection,BYEEEE!!!!!

    I think that Cara and Joey will finish the Landry news and Mr.Larson will enjoy reading the Landry News but Dr.Barnes will not like it and he will fire Mr.Larson and all the kids are going to make a plan to get Mr.Larson rehired.

    i think mr.Larson is going to get fired because the principal thinksthat mr.Larson maybe is not duing his job right!

    I read chapters 10-11 and I thought they were very intresting. I can’t wait to read the next chapter and see what happens during the meeting. I wonder if Mr. Larson doesn’t get fired. Anyways the book is going good so far. I don’t think I have any conections with the book.” BYEE!!!”

    I think that Mr.Larson wil start to like the Landry News. I think that because he os a changed teacher. :)

    I only Have one connection and it’s when Cara made a bad decision and all people in the world make mistakes. I love this book want to keep reading really bad!!!

    I think that Dr.Barnes will have a different attitude towards Mr.Larson.I think so because of the meeting that Mr.Larson & Dr.Barnes.

    i predict that mr.larson will get a raise, because when mr.barnes reads the newspaper, he’ll like it alot, and assume that mr.larson tought her how to do it.

    the landry new’s is funny about the chracters how they react to certain things like when Cara said she was a big fat coward.:)
