T/T In a lot of books that I read, one of the main characters goes out on a dangerous adventure, but doesn’t want their siblings or friends to go so they dont get hurt. Emerson did that to Miss Eells and Anthony, and it helps me better understand the story because the main characters don’t want the people they love to get hurt.
T/S Miss Eells and Anthony want to go with Emerson to find the Logos Cube, and they persuaded him to let them go. I sometimes try to persuade people to let me go somewhere, like a friends house, and it helps me understand the story better because I know how eager they are to go with Emerson.

Hi Alex-
Great connections! I’m glad to see you could connect with both another text and yourself. I’m also happy to see that you noticed that Miss Eells certainly used persuasion when trying to convince Emerson to allow she and Anthony to go with him.
