T/S Emerson knows some of the passages of the mansion in the other world from exploring. When my parents bought a new house when I was little, I explored it thinking that going through doors are secret passages. I always tried to do it without being caught. It helps me better understand what Emerson has to go through to find all these passages without being caught.
T/S Whenever I get separated from my parents in a store I always think it is my fault. That is how Emerson felt and thought. It helps me better understand how Emerson felt and thought about himself.

I can really understand your 2nd connection. Once, I was at a crowded train station with my mom, dad, and sister. I went with my mom to get some gum, but I got bored and went across the train station to my dad and sister without my mom knowing. She really freaked out and I felt very guilty, and so did my mom. I can understand how Anthony and Emerson feel because Anthony is probably guilty for getting lost (like me), and Emerson is guilty for losing Anthony (like my mom).
