Skinny – What amulet did Emerson, Anthony, and Miss Eells choose to keep themselves protected?

Thick – What do you think happened to Miss Eells,  Anthony, and Emerson at the end of the chapter? Please explain.

Thoughts – I think all three of them traveled to the mansion in the other world because if the ace of spades was upside down, they would die. So I think the only other thing that would happen is they would go to the other world because Mr. Ambrose(A.K.A. the Grand Autarch) lives there. I think that is what happened. 

t/s.  Like Anthony and Miss Eells I worry alot too. This helps me better  understand how Anthony and Miss Eells would react to certain situations.

t/s.  Anthony likes to visit Emerson because it’s very old fashioned.I like to visit my Grandma because her house is kind  of old fashioned so that tells me what Anthony’s interests are.
