The skill we have been practicing is making is making inferences. Choose one character from your reading and make an inference about him or her. (For example, if your character answers questions in just a few words, and looks down at the ground when people talk to him, you might infer that he is shy.) What conclusions can you draw about your character from his thoughts or actions in the reading?

I think Ms.Honey is a nature person and likes being alone because she lives in a house all alone far away kind of in the woods does anyone have any other reasons about why she might live alone?

I think Miss.Honey will find out that Matilda is going to for with her power and than Matilda will not be able to contral it and Miss.Honey wont know what to do.

I want to make a inference on Matilda because she has changed trough out the book like she used to read all the time and was nice but she did get a little more serious because of Mrs. Trunchbull being mean and putting kids in the chokey so Matilda wants to be a little more braver and try to stand up to her parents and Mrs.Trunchbull.So thats who i think will change.

Next I think that Matilda will experament with her power in big steps even though Ms.Honey told her not to because she could get hurt but Matilda seemed curious.

My inference is about Miss Honey. I can infer that Miss Honey doesn’t get payed a lot because she is very poor. I know she’s poor because her furniture is overturned boxes. An inference made off of that inference is that Mrs. Trunchbull doesn’t pay Miss Honey a lot because she thinks Miss Honey is too kind.

I inferenced that Miss. Honey is going to soon adopt Matilda because of her genius qualities and “powers”. In the next chapter i think that we will find out how Miss. Honey got poor.

An inference I could make about Matilda is she is probably gong to do something to the Trunchbull… Because she wants to get back at the Trunchbull for everything she did mean to all the kids in the school
