Homework
Homework is typically assigned Monday through Thursday. It should take your 5th grader no longer than 50 minutes to complete, although it will usually be much less than that. If you notice that your child is struggling, please have them stop and send a note in with the homework. It is intended to be practice only and does not count as a grade.
The only exception to the weekend homework policy and timing would be long-term projects and studying. These might require extra time beyond the school week and the 50 minutes, depending upon your child and the assignment. If you ever have any concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Weekly Folders typically go home once a week and need to be signed and returned within two days. I request that you also sign and return all D’s and F’s. Please let us know if have not seen it or if you need more time to review your child’s work.
