In Chapters 12-16, Carlie and Harvey come to the conclusion that sometimes life is unfair. They obviously have some very good reasons in their own lives to back this up. The basic idea is that there are often things that happen in life that are completely out of our control. For Carlie it might be the string of stepfathers who mistreated her. For Harvey it might be his mother leaving and his father’s cruelty toward him. Thomas J was practically an orphan from the start, and one of the two people he had in his life is gone.
Share a time in your life when you felt life was unfair. Please don’t share anything too personal, but explain what happened and how you dealt with it.

A time when life wasn’t fair was when I was in my parent’s country visiting family, when my mom and my aunt were going shopping and having fun and I was home almost everyday! I was, I must say a little jealous cause they were getting all the fun! but when I started to argue with my mom about it she kept on telling me you don’t want to go there, because there were all these people running around shopping. She told me that cause she told me she would even get squished there. Believe it or not, I ended up going there and boy was I sqished!!! I couldn’t even breathe for a second!!! I then learned my lesson.It’s that always believe what your parents say. They tell the truth alright!!!

One time when I life was unfair was today when my mom almost made me stay home because the roads were all snowy . I had to forse her to let me go to school so I could see my friends and learn something new.
Example: If I didn’t go to school today I wouldn’t be able to learn stem and leaves plot .

One time that my life was unfair is when my mom and dad almost made me stay home because they had to go to a meeting for work but I convinced them to go late on there meeting so I can go to my Game.
