Principal

I take great pride in leading such a fine team of educators at the Roland Rogers Elementary School! As I reflect back on my many years in administration, I can honestly say that the faculty and staff of Roland Rogers work hard to provide our students with the best educational experiences. Our school gives students the opportunity to expand their knowledge and creativity in all genres of academia. Four years ago we adopted a ‘team’ concept in our efforts to develop and maintain an effective school. Our accomplishments and successful ventures are results of the entire school (faculty, staff, administration and parents) effectively working together as a team!
During the 2009-2010 school year, the overall student body met academic success! Working within a professional learning community collaborative model, our teachers were afforded opportunities to consistently plan together and examine the many aspects which contribute to student achievement. As a result, the elementary cluster of grades 3-5 met all 40 indicators of the 2010 NJ State Assessment (ASK), while our grade 6 students met 39 of 40 indicators! We are proud of this accomplishment!!
