When i was in Florida, I missed my mom. Iwas in Florida with my dad. Sometimes I wished she was there. But Disney is still really fun!
I remember one day when there was a real bad thunder storm. It went on for 4 hours! I was upstairs by myself because downstairs my brother was trying to fall asleep. I was scared at first, but then as the storm went on, I wasn’t scared.

I liked when you said “When I was in Florida, I missed my mom…” I then liked when you said the bright side of being away.
I like when you opened with”I remember one day…” It was a great opening! It made me want to read it! THAT was great! I liked when you said how long it lasted, too. I liked how you said “I was scared at first, but as the storm went on, I wasn’t scared” That was a good ending! I agree: At first, storms can be a bit scary, but then, once you’re used to it, you aren’t scared! My dog is really scared of thunderstorms! He comes shaking up and crawls on you, whimpering. Great writing!
