Dear William,
I am in Kansas it’s very dry here. I miss you. I miss Maine also. I miss the dunes there, but we have a dune here made out of hay. I learned how to ride a horse and drive a wagon. I am having a good time in Kansas almost as much fun as I had in Maine. I cut Caleb and Anna’s hair and set it free for the birds to make nests with. Write back.

“BOOM.” Did you hear that? I think it’s getting closer. At least I am inside. There goes the power. I hope it comes back on. In the dark I light a candle and play games. I hope we don’t get more of these storms!
Do you miss something?I do. I miss my cat, Nightmare. We were like two peas in a pod. I always played with him. Nightmare was a little friendly, but not very friendly. He was always quiet. Until one sad day he got ran over by a car. I still remember him though.
My first word was Dad. I would like to learn how to ride dirtbike ride better. I would like to teach some one how to fish:

I would like to learn how to do the circle breathing rotation when I play the trumpet so I can hold a single note for forever. I hope I learn it sometime in life.
Do you want to know how to run fast? Well I’ll tell you. First you have to stretch to get in shape. Then you start to run, as you run, breath through you nose. Next, you have to practice running everyday. Finally you will be as fast as me!
At the beach there are lot of shells very cool ones thet you can collect . The fun one is making sand castles but time is when the water is hot and you can go swimming and surfing. there are seagulls at the beach and they grab the food you are eating they get annoying some times! some times there are big waves and some times the water is smooth. team 3
Ouch! A crab bit me. It looks like a high tide today. Look at all the seagulls. Can you see those boats out there in the salty water next to some dolphins. It feels good standing here in the hot sand when the sun is hot as ever. Do you smell that salty water? Wow I hope you liked the beach.
If I ordered a mom I would want her to be smart. Also I would want her to be a good cook to cook food for me. Athletic too so she can help me with sports. These are a few of the qualities I would advertise in a mail order mom.
I would not want a mail order mom to be bossy, a bad cook or lazy. I also hope she is not annoying, for example not letting me do things with my friends. I would not like these qualities in a mom.
