Dear William, Life in the prairice is quite lovely but, during the thunderstorm I had to sleep on hay in the barn with the family. I keep on missing Maine. Well, living in Kansas has taugt me something. I now know about farming. Caleb and Anna are wounderful and I like the sweet smell of the garden. The prairie grasses cover the land and remind me of the sea. Seal likes it here too. I hope everythng in Maine is fine. Write back to me.

When I was at my friend Dylan’s house for a sleep over there was a lightning storm. We were out of a electricity. Dylan’s mom got some flashlights and headed downstairs to the basement. We were glad that there was electricity downstairs, so we put the lights on. It was still stormy outside. Then we thought that we should head upstairs. Finally the power was on again and we went to sleep. In the morning we were happy the storm was over.
There was a big storm and I was with my 2 sisters and my mom. We were sleeping and I woke up and my sister Rosie woke up too. So we went in the kitchen and the window was open . So I cl0sed it. We heard a big boom!! It freaked us out so we went back to sleep. We woke the next morning and we went to see what the boom was. We went outside and opened the door . Our favorite tree fell down!!
I missed my parents when the storm happened. I thought that I was scared, so I needed them. The thunder rumbled so hard. I felt scared and lonely I couldn’t go to sleep. So I stayed up the whole night. The next morning,i was so tired. I slept the whole next day. team10sm

And if you want to learn something, you have to learn it step by step.I could teach you how to make cereal for breakfast. 1st take out a bowl and spoon. 2nd Get your favorite cereal. 3rd then take out any kind of milk. 4th pour the cereal in the bowl. 5th pour the milk in the bowl with the cereal. 6th ENJOY AND EAt it!!

Did you ever miss someone? Well, Evelyen, my grandma , passed away when I was 6. This makes me sad because she used to be just like me. When we wake up in the morning we would say, “good morning” to everyone. Grandma was also like a bull in a china shop like me. I miss her because, she was like a friend to me. Did you ever feel like you were friend to a family member?

I want to learn how to ice skate I was never good at it. So you might want to know something about my life, well my dad thought that I would be good at roller skating and I was. Here is how you can be good at roller skating. First, you can walk like you don’t have any skates on. Then, you push yourself with force. Let yourself roll forward. Try to get you balance so you don’t fall. To stop you use your stopper on the toes of your roller skates. It take alots of pratice. GOOD LUCK!
Wow! Did you ever feel the salt water on your skin? Hi! I am Brittany I am going to tell you about the beach.Well first, what you would see there at the beach is sea creatures like a fish, dolphin, crab, and jellyfish. Ouch! You don’t want to go so close near a jellyfish. It stings! I taste sweet ice cream which is nice and cold on a wonderful beach day. When I was little I liked to play in the sand and eat it-YUCK! We listen to the sounds on the radio and build sand castles. When it gets too hot, I jump into the ocean waves and get wet. I love the beach a lot.
If Icould advertise for a mom, it would be the one I have right now. She would be nice , and not go to bed at 10A.M. If I can wear what ever I want, and she could do my laundry and buy me more WEBKINZ!!She would be helpful and caring.

Here are some things I would want in a mom. I would want her to be supportive when I need help. I also would want her to be smart for when I need help on my homework. Finally, I would want her to be a good cook and make us home cooked meals so my family does not starve .

I would not want her to be lazy because if she was then no one would help me with my homework. Finally, I would not want her to be selfish because if she was selfish than I would not have a house over my head. I’m glad my mom does not have these traits.
