The prarie here is dry and it makes me feel lonely but I’m ok. They have many different things here that we’re not use to. Like no ocean, no sea shells, and its very dry. The house is placed in a very open space.
Well the family is nice there’s Caleb sweet and young, There’s Anna curious and smart, and papa handsome and sweet. The family takes care of each other and treat me well they’re always by my side watching out for me

Dear William,
Life in Kansas is different from life in Maine. There is no sea and I really miss it, but I am enjoying my time here in Kansas. Jacob’s kids are great. I got to teach Caleb and Anna how to swim in a pond.We went to find a dune and it was great. I got to feel the sheep’s warm coat, but sadly one died. There are a lot of storms in Kansas. I’m very happy here and I hope you come visit us.

I remember the time there was a thunder storm. I was at my aunt’s house with my 3 cousins. We were playing in the house at night and then some of the lights went out. My 5 year old cousin was afraid of thunder, she hugged her mom really tight. Fifteen minutes later the lights went back on, but then the lights turned off one more time for about 5 minutes. I hope that doesn’t happen again. I don’t like thunderstorms.
I missed out on a meteor shower I fell alsleep at 12:00 and I never got to see it. My family told me about it but I missed out on alot. It would be cool if I saw one.
One night I was sleeping all the sudden boom and a tree fell down. One the lightning hit I thought there was an earthquake but it was lightning. That’s how big it was, can you imgine? The rain was loud and it bugged me alot when I was trying to fall asleep at 3:00 Pm now that i call loud rain and lighting.
I really miss my dad. Right now he is in Hong Kong because his job is to work over there. I miss him kind of like he misses me. When he is home I like to play with him, he is very fun to play with. I really miss him because he’s my dad and I love him. I can’t wait till he comes home.

If I’d like to be taught something it would be how to do flips,Like a double or triple or more!
My first word was da. If I could learn anything, it would be to bake a cake out of scratch, but I could teach you how to bake a cake out of cake mix.
First, you get the ingredients and put it into a bowl. Next, you stir the mix in the bowl. Then, you put it in the oven. Finally, you can add stuff to it, and enjoy the cake!
Swoosh! If you never been to the ocean then I can describe what it’s like. When you go there you hear seagulls of course and the blue ocean crahing against the sand. You can almost taste the salty sea, if you go in and drink the ocean the you’ll definitely taste the salty sea. Sometimes you can smell cinnamon churrohs or hot dogs being handed out on stands. What you see is fun and cheer. Like the ocean thats blue and deep with exotic sea creatures waiting to be found. Thats what it’s like if you never been to the beach! Team 12
Yuck! The sand keeps getting in my mouth. It’s really fun at the beach. Most of the time at the beach it’ll have seagulls, sand, waves and palm trees. Do you hear that, that’s the kids playing in the soft sand. Most of the time people bring towels so they can sit on them. I could almost smell the fish and seaweed. Well, I hope you go to the beach soon.
