Dear William,

Hi! I wanted to tell you all about life on the prarie and the family here. You can see cows and different kinds of animals. There are also squalls. I taught Jacob’s Anna and Caleb how to swim in the cowpond. There is no Ocean. but there are hay dunnes. The grass is as wavy as the Ocean. The sheep are mayhem. There are Pink  and Purple Posies all over the place. The squalls go BOOM! and Whoosh!

                         I miss you.

Dear William,

Kansas is fun! Caleb, Anna, and Jacob are very nice. Lottie and Nick are the dogs. They are getting along well with Seal. The cows, horses, and the sheep on the farm are delightful. Jacob taught me how to plow and drive a horse and wagon. I taught Caleb and Anna how to float in the cow pond. I helped Jacob fix the roof before a big storm. We slept in the barn in the hay with all the animals during the hailstorm. So far, Kansas is a great experience. I still miss Maine and you. I wonder how your marriage is going. Talk to you soon!

One day when a snowstorm came on a school day, I didn’t go to school. After a while, it stopped snowing and my sister and I went outside and our neighbor came over. When I threw a snowball at my sister, she was getting her picture taken by my mom. In the picture, you see a big snowball in the corner of the picture. When I threw the snowball at my sister, she started crying. That was a fun day and a great picture.

I missed and still miss my dad. He’s in the army and I only see him on my summer vacation time. Since he works alot I barely see him until he brings back lunch. He is in Louisiana!

One day  in Oklahoma there was a tornado.  I was with my brother and sister. I felt very scared! The tornado almost hit me. It was loud and there was alot of damage. team15sm

When I was 7 or 8 years old, my mom was acting in the movies Treasure Island and The Pink Panther. She went away for a week and I missed her a lot. One day during that week, I didn’t sleep for 24 hours. I think she was in New York for the taping. I’m glad my mom doesn’t go away anymore.

My first word was mommy.

I would like to learn how to land a backflip.

 I could teach you how to land a sideflip. Step 1, keep jumping. Step 2,  jump left. Step 3, put you’re hands out where you’re flipping. Step 4, shift your weight on the side where your hands are. Step 5, put your legs in. Step 7, put your legs out to land. That’s how you do a sideflip.

My first word was mom.

One thing I would like to learn is how to build a car. Mostly a Ford Mustang or a Ferrari F430. I would like to do this so I can give cars to my parents and cars for when I’m older.

If I could teach someone how to do something, it would be how to hit a baseball. First, you need to step in the batter’s box. Next, you need to get into a stance that you’re comfortable with. Then, you wait till the pitcher starts his windup. Finally, keep your eye on the ball, step into it, and give it a hard swing. Whack!

The ocean is wonderful. You can see food. You feel seaweed in the water. You smell food. You feel the relaxing sun’s heat.
You feel like nothing bad can happen and you just swim or surf. You can just watch the gentle, light ocean in the twilight. You can see the color blue in the ocean. You also see seagulls. You get to watch the Sun set and watch the waves.

Wow, do you see that? It’s a large body of water with sand. It’s the beach! Let’s start off with what you see. You see people surfing, eating popsicles, crabs, lobsters, jellyfish, and sometimes if you’re lucky… sharks (when you’re on the beach of course, looking out into the salty water). You wouldn’t want to see a shark while you were still in the water .

Okay, now what do you hear? You hear the beautiful ocean waves crashing, people bringing their radio to play music, the squawking of seagulls, and people laughing, having the best time of their lives.

Next, you can feel the hot sand on your feet on a beautiful day.

You can smell many things too like salt water and white suntan lotion.

Finally, I know you like to eat so on some hot beaches, you can get ice cream, hot dogs, and french fries! I can’t forget popsicles!Well, I hope to see you at the beach soon!

• If I could advertise for a mail order mom I would want her to be nice, funny, and a good cook.   
• Yes, my mom is a good cook, funny, and nice. She is all of the good qualities.
• I wouldn’t like a mail order mom who snores, or is rude and  mean.
• My mom has none of the bad qualities. My mom never snores or is mean!
