Dear Willam,
Do you know what it’s like here? I really like it here. The family here is really trying to make it like home for me. Everyone here is really nice. The only thing I don’t like is there is no ocean. There must be a billon acres of land. I hope you’re having fun back home. Write me as often as you like.

P.S There is a little boy named Caleb, he is not afraid to talk. Anna is shy and calm same with the dad. Caleb must have got his craziness from his mom’s side of the family.

                           Sincerely, Sarah

Dear William,

I really miss you, the sea, and all of Maine. There are some advantages though. There is a cow pond on the side of the barn. I swam in it. I did not care if it was dirty I wanted to feel like I was in Maine again. Surprisingly, seal gets along with their two dogs. I found someone, she is our neighbor. She brought me flowers, she said you can’t live somewhere without a garden. I cut the kids hair. Their names are Caleb and Anna. The horse’s names are Jack and Old Bess. Their dogs names are Nick and Lottie. I learned how to plow the field. I taught Caleb and Anna how to swim. They made me a dune and we slid down into the hay. I lived through a nasty storm. I like living in Kansas, but I like living in Maine better. Maybe someday I can come visit you. Or you can come visit me.

                                        Love,

                                        Sarah

Oh my gosh! Have you ever been in a nasty storm while on the beach? Well, I have, and it was very hard to get out of the beach. The clouds started rolling in so we packed up. My mom got caught up in a conversation and the winds started to pick up, I was about eight and my brother was about two. My dad was carrying my brother and I was trying to get my mom to leave. Just then it started to poor rain, thunder and lightning. The wind was blowing at us, “HARD.” Once we got into our car we felt a load that was lifted off our shoulders. We drove home safely. Once we got home the storm had past us and we went outside and played and had a blast.

I feel as upset as a bear that missed his morning breakfast. The only reason why I feel that way is because I have lost a lot of people and animals in my life. It is heart breaking to me. The person who I miss the most is my MeMaw. She passed away last summer. It was very hard to see her go. One day I will see her again, but until then, I am going to enjoy the people I’ve got while I’ve got them, and I will love every part of it. Life will have its ups and downs but you have to deal with what comes your way in life.

I would love to learn how to play cricket because it seems like a fun game to learn.

I am going to teach you how to spike a volleyball. First you step with your right foot if you are right handed and your left foot if your are left handed. Next, step with the opposite foot that you just stepped with. Then take the other foot again and then jump. When you are in the air put your left if you are left handed and your right if you are right handed down your back. Next, you reach up. Finally you slam the volleyball down and over the net to the ground. It has to be over the net on the other persons net. If you do you score one for your team!

My first word was hat because my dad always wears hats.
I would like to learn to ski.
I would teach someone else how to be a cheerleader. First, you have to learn to talk loud. Then, learn all of the cheers then all the dance moves. Finally, put it all together and you know how to cheer!

You can feel warm sand in your toes, itchy sea weed when you’re in the water and freezing cold water. When you’re at the beach you can smell salt from the water, yummy food and sometimes sun screen. You can hear barking dogs, the ice cream man ringing his bell, people talking, the rodio, birds , but best of all the sound of the crashing waves. When you’re at the beach you just feel so calm and relaxed.

Look at that!!! Have you ever been to the beach before? Well, I have. When it is your first time at the beach you can see, hear, smell, taste, and feel all different things. Sometimes if you look hard enough, you can see some graceful animals like a dolphin jumping up and down in the water. When you listen closely you can hear waves crashing in the ocean. This is a peaceful sound to me, it always relaxes me. If you want to tan you better bring some suntan lotion and a towel. The only reason why I said to bring those things is because you can get burned from the sun, if you don’t wear suntan lotion. Sometimes the sun tan lotion sticks to the sand and it is very uncomfortable so that is why you should bring a towel. When you have a salty taste in your mouth, it is probably from the ocean. The ocean water is very salty. If you are tanning you will hear the sound of children laughing and having a good time at the beach. You can smell the ocean when it is breezy out. Well, if you’ve never have been to the beach before, now you know everything you need to know about the beach, so let’s go to the beach.
