The School Story

T to W- In the real world it would be alot of fuss getting a sixth graders book published because it does not happen alot. 

Event: When Ms. Clayton recievies the letter from Zoe containg $500.

Reaction: I felt wierd because it is strange for a 12 year old to be giving away $500

Prediction: I think that once Natalies mom reads the story, she will like it and try to get it published.

prediction-I predicted Natalie will publish her book because she now has a literary agency.

Dear diary I feel alot better because Mrs. Clayton is helping Zoe and I with my book. I think if I get my book pubilished that it will be better because I had an adult to help to make it better and Mrs.clayton is not just an adult she is a teacher so that will help a lot. 

perdicion: I think that people will buy her book.               

i connected with Zoe on page 83 because in my other school, Mullica TWS. i was asked if i was in or out of the club. i forget what the club was called. Zoe was asked the same thing.

I predict thatZoes mom will not like being the boss because being boss is very hard to do. 

Why didn’t Ms Clayton leave a message instead of Zoe doing it ? I thought because she thought Natalie mom would notice her voice.      My prediction is Natalie’s  mom will read natalie’s book because her boss told her to read it over the weekend .  Emani Wilson

Connection:

My connection is a Text -> Self connection. Like Natalie, I enjoy writing and I might think about publishing one of my writing pieces some day.

Prediction:

I think Zoe’s ideas for further on in the story are going to be crazy, complicated, terrefic, and will probably get Natalie and her in deep trouble. I am very curious to find out what they are!!

This   This image reminds me of when Natalie and Zoe came up to Ms. Clayton’s desk and they discussed the plan for the “publishing group.”

My Prediction – I predict that the next time Natalie, Zoe, and Ms. Clayton meet, they will come up with a plan and develop how it works and what’s supposed to happen.
