The skill we have been practicing is making is making inferences. Choose one character from your reading and make an inference about him or her. (For example, if your character answers questions in just a few words, and looks down at the ground when people talk to him, you might infer that he is shy.) What conclusions can you draw about your character from his thoughts or actions in the reading?

I think the boy / mouse is going to escape because he said he came up with a plan. Then his grandmother said this is one of the biggest things you’ll ever do.

I think that the boy is brave and caring. I think he is brave because he is going to face the witches and try to get revenge. I think he is caring because (whether he believes it or not) he is saving lots of kids by trying to turn the witches into mice.

i think that the little boy (that is know a mouse)is going to turn all of the withches into mice and there will never ever be a withch ever again and thats how the book will end and i think that because the mouse maker will go into all of the withches food.

I think that he will concor the witches because they said that they wanted to do something about the witches, so, naturally, I think that they will concor them with the formula 86 delayed action mouse-maker.
